About D.A.D.

D.A.D. (Drums and Disabilities) is a 501 (C)(3) non-profit community outreach organization, helping special needs children and their families. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his Administration, and the New Jersey Department of Education Commissioner helped launch D.A.D. as a special education school program in 2004. Currently, Psychologists, Neuroscientists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Behavioral Therapists, Drum Instructors, and Special Education Teachers are D.A.D. Certified Drum Therapists, and use the D.A.D. Program in Schools, Health, Facilities, and Community Centers in over 15 Countries.
